Author
Debut novelist behind the Scarred Systems series. These are stories about the systems meant to protect us, and what happens when they fail.
Who I Am
My name is R. A. Tutson, but most people call me Rhian. I worked as a Florida Highway Patrol trooper, and now I investigate employee misconduct allegations.
I have two bachelor’s degrees, in Criminal Forensic Studies and Criminal Justice, a master’s in Criminal Justice, and a minor in anthropology. The Fourth Floor is my first novel. I’m working on Book Two, Fruit of the Poisonous Tree.

The Book
The Fourth Floor
LeighAnne Rhodes is a profiler. She reads people for a living, builds the case from the evidence, and never looks away, except from herself. When she returns to the fourth floor of FDLE after a near-fatal childbirth and an emergency hysterectomy, she tells herself the hardest part is over. But a new partner sees her too clearly, a case mirrors her own life, and someone inside the building has been quietly building a file on her. The Fourth Floor is the story of a woman who finally becomes the investigator in her own case.
